How to verify the camera model from the ID number?

All YI/Kami home security cameras display part of the ID (identification number) on the physical camera and list the full ID number after pairing in the app under Settings. The ID number is used to reference the camera model.

To reference the physical camera from the ID number, please refer to the steps below.

1. For any YI Dome 720p =3, YI Home 2 camera =4, YI Dome 1080p =5, YI Home 720p =7, YI Home 1080p =8, and YI Outdoor =C.

Verify using the "2nd" digit. (Ex. YI Outdoor camera)
