Why does the TV not show anything after it's connected to the camera via HDMI?

Check if the TV is switched to the correct HDMI input mode.
Make sure the HDMI cable is properly connected.
Make sure the HDMI cable is not damaged.
Make sure the camera has not run out of battery and is turned on.
