Why are alerts not triggered when there is movement?

Please check whether alerts are turned on in Settings. Also please note that the alerts are sent to your phone via internet so both the connection speed of your phone and the camera are important for the timeliness of the alert. The alert mechanism has a cooling period so please try to pause movement for a few minutes then check if alerts start working again.
