Note: Please note it might take several attempts to pair the base station in the app.
1. APP Operation
Click the "Add" button in the upper right corner (red circle 1). On the next screen select the Kami Smart Security Base Station (red circle 2), confirm your cables and adapters are set up correctly, press “Next” and enter the pairing process.
The App will automatically search for your Base Station on your network. When the App locates your Kami Smart Security Base Station it will appear in the list (you can compare it with the SN number of the device).
Click "Next" and wait for the Base Station to pair successfully
1. When pairing, you need to confirm that the network light is on. If the light is off, your Base Station is not connected to your network. Please check the network status and try again.
2. Confirm that your phone and Base Station are in the same WiFi network.
3. When the Kami Smart Security Base Station is turned on for the first time, it can take about 10 minutes for the Base Station to connect. If your Base Station does not connect within 10 minutes, please press and hold the pairing button for 2s. When the power light starts flashing, you can use the APP to start pairing again.
1. Connect the Power Adapter and the Network Cable to the USB-Ethernet Adapter.
Please connect the Base Station as shown in the FAQ. Connect the other end of the network cable to the LAN port of the router. Plug power adapter into an electrical wall outlet. Confirm that your phone and the Base Station are on the same WiFi network.
